What did you think of the HHH v. Big Show Lumberjack match last nite? I thought it was pretty good..I was kinda mad how they did Show since he is one of my faves..but it was funny how knocked Chris Masters out..not the "masterpiece" he thought he was, lol. I agree..but the HBK's Sweet Chin Music on the Big Show was sucky compared to other people he has kicked.

What do you think about the Lumberjack match with Big Show vs HHH? That was funny, everybody attacked the Big Show and some got caught by the right hand punch and the chokeslam. Now that is true entertainment there. What do you think?

What is the best festival entertainment you have ever seen? I am booking an entertainment act for an outdoor, family festival. The past two years we have had a lumberjack show which drew a large crowd. We want to do something different this year. Any suggestions?

Do you remember the Mike Douglas Show? My father apparently performed Monty Python's "Lumberjack Song" on the Mike Douglas Show in the 70's. I'm trying to find a copy of said video. Apparently there's a copy somewhere in his house, but it's in BETA format. I'd like to be able to transition it into digital format if that's possible. Unless I can find it online. What happened to shows about history on the History Channel? Why do shows about lumberjacks, truck drivers, and construction workers qualify as 'history". Shows like Ax-Men, Ice Road Truckers, and the new series Sandhogs really have very little to do with History. I find it very irritating that the network is being dumbed down by these reality tv shows. Thats basically what they are. I have watched the Ax-Men and Ice Road Truckers a little and while they may be slightly interesting, they aren't why I watch the History channel. What do you all think??

Miz and Big show vs. R -truth & John Morrison at Wrestlemania? This Match Will Be Turned Into A Lumberjack match. It Will Also be on the Pre Show.

for everyone that wants to know whats going to show on friday night smackdown? The dark match saw Cody Rhodes beat Daivari with a top rope crossbody block. Cody looked okay, but it was your basic opening match. JBL and Michael Cole came out. I think JBL got one of the best pops of the night. Chris Benoit and Matt Hardy vs. MVP & The Miz Decent match that went about 15 minutes with a commercial break in there after the usual babyfaces clean house spot. Hardy got worked over for much of the match while building to the hot tag to Benoit. The Crippler won it with a Crossface although no rolling Germans or headbutt. He just got the point this time. MVP got a nice pop while Miz was hated and Hardy and Benoit got a lot of support. Finlay pumped up Hornswoggle for his match later on. Have to give Hornswoggle some props for the facial expressions. Michelle McCool vs. Jillian Hall I'm a fan of both ladies as far as their bodies go, but the action wasn't all that great. Crowd was dead for it. After about five minutes of a back and forth match, Ashley came down the aisle just as Jillian was in the advantage, so Michelle ended up catching her with a spinning backbreaker for the pin. Then Ashley left. Many of us were wondering if Jillian was going to have a wardrobe malfunction because it sure looked like she was close. Boogeyman prepared his mini buddy by giving him worms to eat. Hornswoggle vs. Mini Boogeyman Lots of fun with a hot crowd for it of course. Everybody loves the midgets apparently. Finish came when Finlay came out from under the ring (I saw him sprinting out there during Boogey's entrance) to help Hornswoggle. Finlay hit Mini Boogey with the shillelagh and then Hornswoggle won it with a splash off the top. Crowd liked him. At this point it was pretty funny because they were putting the carpet in the ring for what we thought was the interview segment (see main event), but then they ended up taking it out quickly as Kane's music started up. During the match I could see ring announcer Tony Chimmel yelling at one of the tech guys about it. I guess they got something wrong on their order sheet. Kane vs. Mark Henry This was one of the worst matches I've ever seen live and I've seen Nathan Jones live, so that's saying something. It went about 6 or 7 minutes and ended when Mark Henry gave him a bearhug on the floor, then rammed him into the post. Kane got counted out. They made a lumberjack match for One Night Stand as a result of this. Backstage, Edge did his usual promo about beating Undertaker and then Batista, so he's not an underdog. Deuce & Domino did an interview with some new announcer dude. It was their usual '70s type of speak with one of them (the short haired one) being extra aggressive. Deuce & Domino vs. London & Kendrick vs. Regal & Taylor for the Tag Titles This match was in the 15 minute range or so. Much of it was spent with Kendrick getting worked over by the four heels. The guy behind me wouldn't shut up as he yelled for Regal to tag with Nigel McGuinness while another guy in the area yelled at him to shut up before he opens up a can of whoop ass. That got a loud ovation. Anyway, London came in after the tag, cleaned house and went for something off the top when Cherry shoved him off and the champs got the pin. I don't remember which one. The one with the longer hair, I think. Backstage, Teddy Long credited Vickie Guerrero with booking Kane vs. Henry in a Lumberjack match at One Night Stand. Then Kristal pondered about what would happen if Teddy and her weren't on the same brand after the draft. The segment ended with Vickie telling Teddy & Kristal to go on a romantic night out on the town because she would take care of the rest of the show. And then she did nothing to take care of the show. Weird segment. Main Event Interview Batista was a guest on the Cutting Edge show. Edge got a massive pop on the way out. I'd say it was the biggest of the night. He had a sore throat, so they got right to the point. He beat Undertaker and he beat Batista, so he's not afraid of him. Then he gently slapped him, Batista gently slapped back. Then they gently nudged eachother and the segment ended with Batista decking him with a right hand. Smackdown ended at about 9:40 so there was a 20 minute wait for ECW. I'm not sure how it came across on TV, but we were pretty tired for ECW. Also, the fact that ECW airs at 12am on Friday nights in Canada doesn't help. A lot of people didn't know who the wrestlers were. Some quick notes on it. Surprised to see Orton. He got a nice pop and Dreamer's was okay. The Punk/Burke match was well received. There was a lot of support for Punk while very few people knew Burke. Even less people knew Cor Von, but there was a massive ovation for the pounce through the table. Most people thought Vince/Lashley would be in the arena, so there was a lot of booing when we found it was just going to be by video. Extreme Expose woke the crowd up. At that point we had one ECW match in 40 minutes. It was a lot of video wall watching. Thorn vs. Mahoney was horrible. Nobody knew them. Orton and Dreamer's match was so rushed. Nobody believed Dreamer could win, so nobody cared. Orton did get a nice pop for the RKO. After the show there was a Batista/Benoit vs. Edge/MVP match, but we left to beat the traffic. I'll just assume Batista pinned MVP with a Batista Bomb.

I TOLD U I WOULD PAY U BACK TONIGHT COOKIE! yelled an angry Garfield NOW SWIM IN YOUR OWN BLOOD! He gave cookie a wicked chairshot to the face. jong in the meantime wa swhipping Bird as Drago & Tyson held him. Finally Garfield added humiliating insult to injury as he opened cookies mouth & spat in it & let Daphne do the same thing. They covered him with the North Korean flag while Jong did the same thing to Bird. Shrek finally opened the cage door with pliers but it was too late as jong & his allies climbed out the cage & escaped. The Main Event was a Tag Match between Kurt Angle and Randy Orton against CM Punk and Kofi Kingston, this ended in a No Contest when they all battled outside the ring to a countout. Event 1 TWE Chairman approaches The Ring. He addresses the TWE fans to talk about Cyber Sunday. He announces that at the end of Revenge's show to votes will open for Revenge matches at Cyber Sunday plus The Brand V Brand Diva Match. As for Re-Born Matches they will be available to vote after Re-Born's Show. The Chairman then says he will make tonights Main Event. He says tonights Main Event will involve everyone on Revenge who is involved with Cyber Sunday. We have a new TWE Champion The Undertaker. Event 1 Chris Jericho enters the ring and tells the crowd that he feels naked without his belt and promises to win it back from The Undertaker in 2 weeks time at One night Stand. His speech is interupted by Big Show, he goes on to tell Chris that he has been halping him for a while and it is now time for Chris to do him a favour and that is to stay out of his way while he goes for TWE gold. Umaga then makes an appearance and screams out them both in Samoan. Chris tries to calm them down and just to make things worse Triple H's music starts. He comes to tell Chris 'I told you so' he had warned him that Big Show and Umaga would turn against him, he also warned him without them he has no chance, he only won the title because of help from them and could only defend it when they were around. He splashed him as Grover watched laughing. Elmo jumped off the apron & the Ref counted to three as Grover wins the match. It was an expected bloody & crazy Main event. Heathcliff hit Garfield with the kendo stick before leaving making Garfield an easy target for Snoopy's flying fore arm. 4) Kermit pinned by Tony after hitting Kermit with the Pedigree. it was down to Tony Vs Snoopy. Here is a condensed version: Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter. The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups: 1. Liberals, and 2. Conservatives. Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed. Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement. Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement. Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men. Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided. is one night stand worth ordering? as it stands only 2 matches i can see on the card that are worth watching they are the ladder match with the hardy's and world's greatest tag team and knowing vince he won't allow them to steal the show but i hope im wrong and he books a classic as we all know these 2 teams could. then orton v rvd.As we all know by now is that rvd is leaving.But will he be buried? i say yes he will expected orton to win in less than 10 minutes. i hope this doesn't happen but knowing wwe's track record it will. the other matches aren't that appealing we all know that cena will win. lashley will win. since when has a lumberjack match been extreme? anyways that match will be terrible i mean henry is a fat as ever and is basically innmobile.And kane has aged so bad in the ring in the last year.then you have batista v edge in a cage this match could be good if edge carries dave. What is your WWE dream match? My dream match would be a No Holds Barred Lumberjack I Quit match. It would be at Survivor Series, SD! vs RAW. There would be all sorts of weapons laying around in the ring...wire, chairs, bats, wired bats and chairs, pipes, hammers, etc. To win, you would have to make your opponent quit. Because it is No Holds barred, there are absolutely no rules. Because it is lumberjack, there are going to be other superstars on the outside. There is also going to be lighters and gasoline laying around the ring. ONce you make someone say "i quit," they're eliminated. It is a battle Royal between 3 superstars from each brand. From RAW, there would be John Cena, Triple H, and Umaga. From SD!, there is Batista, Undertaker, and King Booker. From ECW, there is Big Show, RVD, and Sabu. Remember, it is everyone for themselves. A beard is a beautiful thing, but why would you grow it so big so as to detract from your beautiful visage? I'm directing this question specifically at Scott Avett, but anyone may answer it. Are the beards there so that you pay more attention to the music and less attention to the handsome traits of the men playing the music? I'm a fan because of the music, but you can't help but notice these things, and I'm curious if there's a reason for the beards, or they just like to look and feel manly. They sweat so much at shows, I think it must be hot under all that hair! There is something very powerful about a man who can grow a beard like a lumberjack. Are they merely showing off? As we noted a few days ago, nobody is set to take his place in the Money In The Bank match, although a Matt Hardy run in on MVP is likely. - One idea being discussed for the Floyd Mayweather and Big Show match at Wrestlemania is a Lumberjack match with Floyd's posse on one side and WWE stars on the other. Hardy's suspension will end in mid-May, but company policy is that if you are suspended during the build to a PPV, you miss that PPV. This means that Hardy will not likely be back on TV until June 1st. That also means that he will miss out of PPV bonuses from WrestleMania, Backlash and Judgment Day on top of two months of house show and downside guarantee money. When Hardy was suspended the first time in 2007, he missed Summerslam. Due to his position on the card company estimates figure that Hardy lost out on $100,000 for that suspension. Beatdown Results!? Huge Main Event!? Garfield Rants!? What do you think? We begin the show with a bandaged Garfield in the ring. “How was your weekend everybody? Well, I don’t care, because mine sucked. First, I lost my Fantasy WWE Championship. Then I was given an Excalib-U from the top of a 20 foot cage. The only good part is that I still have my Beatdown Championship, but in a weekend of downs, that means nothing. But the worst part of it all was Toyn the Tiger. That b**** stole my title away from me. I should have won, but he cheated. The only reason he won was because I couldn’t prepare for him. In fact, why was he in there for the first place? King Cookie gets injured and The Mayor replaces him with his most hated superstar. How did that happen? I think there’s something going on there. And I’m going to find out.” He was about to leave when Daffy came out. “Gees, you are such a pompous a**. You have a title and all you can think of losing your other one. And then you challenge Tony the Tiger while there’s plenty of talent here. I should know, I used to be the GM. Why do you bother running a show when you spend more then half of the time challenging Fantasy WWE people? There should be change.” “You want change? I’l give you change. Tonight’s main event was going to be you vs. Hugo Chavez. Now, it’s you vs. Chavez in a Lumberjack Match, with all the lumberjacks hand picked by yours truly. Now then, how do you like that for change?” He left as Daffy stared angrily at him. We begin the night with one ½ of the Beatdown Tag Champs Winnie the Pooh facing Sylvester. It was a great match. Pooh was lining up for a suckle punch and tried to hit it, but Sylvester dodged it and drop kicked him. He went to the top rope and hit a Fur Ball for the win. Piglet came in, but tom came from the other side and hit a DDT on him. They left as both their opponents for No Chance lay in agony. The next match had Slimey & Kim Sul-song face Tarzan & Beatdown Cruiserweight Champ Jane. It was a great match as Tarzan redebuted on Beatdown. Slimey & Kim were dominating the whole match due to dirty tactics. Kim was just about to hit a Nuclear Powerbomb on Jane, but as Jane was going down, she got a tag to tarzan. Kim didn’t know it as she tried to pin Jane. Tarzan locked in the Tarzan Clutch (Camel Clutch) on her to make her tap to get the win. IN Champ Han Solo faced Casper in a non-title match. It was a very good match. Han had just hit an aerial Assault and was about to get the win when Queen Daphne came out to distract the ref. As this was happening, Oscar the Grouch came out and hit Han with the lid of a garbage can. Casper then hit a Flying Clotheline as the ref turned around for the win. It was the lumberjack match match after that. The lumberjacks were Jong, Garfield, Slimey, Casper, Oscar, Count, Marvin, Tyson, Drago, Satan (southpark), Eduardo, Kim Sul-song, Daphne, & Jak. It was a great match. Daffy tried very hard and was winning, but as he tried to bounce off the ropes, he was tripped by Marvin. He got distracted by this. Hugo Chavez saw the chance and rolled him up with a small package for the win. After the match, all the lumberjacks came in and beat on him. Jong & Garfield both hit their finishing moves on him. Then Calvin, Hobbes, Sylvester, Tom, Lancelot, Dr. Dre, Chewbacca, Tarzan, Jane, & Wicket W. Warrick came out. Jong & Garfield barely escaped as everyone else fought in the brutal brawl. As Jong & Garfield were backing up the ramp, they bumped into Tony, Clemens, & Bonds. They tried to fight them, but the number advantage got to them. Clemens & Bonds took them with them as the brawl was still going on. Backstage, Tony is using Garfield’s very own cheese grater on him & Jong. Then, he whips both of them with barbed wire. He uses that same wire to wrap them up. He takes out a bag of thumb tack and pours it in to 2 potato sacks He puts them in the sacks and put them in the trunk of their car. Before he shut it, he yelled, “Do you have a problem with my win at Fantasy Summerslam? Well then, we’ll see if you feel the same way. On Fantasy Raw!” They leave as the brawl is going on still in the ring at the end of the show. Hope you enjoyed. This is just for fun. If you don't like it don't answer it. PS.
