My keyboard is lagging my typing. I have scanned with Adware, Spybot and Mcafee -- no key logger has turned up This is very frustrating for me because I type at a fairly fast rate. I have MAC address of another computer which is on the same LAN as my PC is. I installed a key logger on my PC as well. Now the problem is that some days before I changed my PC’s MAC address to that other PC’s MAC address. Now I have again changed the MAC address to original (which is actually mine). I plugged in my new mouse in the back of the computer when i noticed a small black usb device. i looked closer and it has 3 switches; keyboard, mouse, caps lock and then a dial thing that says time delay. there are no other markings on it. I plugged it back in went to my computer to open it up it says network error? why would a flash drive be on a network? I got my MSN/Hotmail/Facebook Hacked! Please, Please Read My Question!? So here I was typing away to a friend on MSN Messenger and up pops along a dialog box saying "elitenerd@hotmail.co.uk has added you as a friend", so I thought this might be someone I know but no it wasn't. He started giving me $hit.... empty threats so I just blocked him and deleted him... I go on my alternate e-mail address and this time add that id!ot and I think he knew it was me but I just played stupid and he kept saying, I know this is you, I am gonna hack into your account etc. then he said check my e-mail on the last account. So I did and it said something about being a dumbfcuk cause I blocked him then he said I'm gonna hack your account. Although he didn't delete my contacts (thank God) or talk to anyone of my friends, but he did change my personal messgae from whatever to "I'm well hard EN". I $hit myself. So I changed my password to a really long one temporary then I'll go back to my old one. But the thing is, he knew some things about me, he said I was small, skinny which was right but thats it, nowt else. I really doubt it that he knows me. Has anybody out there heard of "elitenerd@hotmail.co.uk"? Anyway of getting him banned? How did he find my e-mail address (Not through friends) Is it the last I've heard of him? (All this happened on Tuesday.) I then just found today (Friday) that he'd not only hacked into my MSN account but also my Facebook account! I was soooo shocked, [on my Facebook status he put: I am watching some good quality p0rn at p0rn2.com [or something] But I thought I'd heard the last of him! So I crap*ed my pants as usual and changed my passwords again and then got told of a KEYBOARD LOGGER, I downloaded ThreatFire (on Tuesday) - and it didn't find a KL. Until when it happened again today, I search Google and I downloaded SNOOP-FREE PRIVACY SHIELD and it had found a KEYBOARD HOOK (x2)! So I clicked RESTRICTED Is this the last of my worries? Key Logger Icon? At the bottom of my sceen, by the clock is an icon that looks like the letter K of a keyboard. When i click on it, it requires a password. She also continues to get several text messages from this coworker all of the time. We are currently going to counseling, but I still feel like something is going on. Help? The counselor has suggested not given her an ultimatum. She is going to do what she is going to do. The one problem I have with divorce is the four children we have between ages two and seven. But, if the user can get into safe mode at all, doesn't that mean they're at the highest level of privilege and can see all? Did a hacker do it or am I nuts? I just recently put a key logger thing on my computer because of trust issues with my boyfriend. Well, I went to work last night and got home around 3am. Once I got home I opened up the key logger and saw a lot of "explicit" material if you get my drift. So I woke him up and questioned him about it. There were screen shots of some of the crap on there. He swears up and down he didn't do it. And claims a hacker did it. He said they can access your computer and put crap up like that on there. But how did it say he typed certain stuff in on this keyboard and the screen shots? Supposedly today he put a firewall up and found an ip address or whatever and said that was someone trying to connect to our cpu. Also on realplayer it has a video in there that is pretty explicit.....that I guess a hacker did. So my question is, is this possible, does it sound like a hacker could do that? Worried wife will will cheat or leave me..? My wife has been getting very friendly with other men she works with or online in chat rooms. She has been hiding her true feelings about how she feels about me but has told her new male friends what an asshole I am. I so suspicious that I put a keyboard logger on my computer to get more information I’ve found secret email address, explicit messages to her male friends, and other warning signs that she may want an affair.
