AIM 6.0 CONVERSATION LOGGER RESETS? I have aim 6.0 and theres a feature that allows me to log my aim conversations and save them all. It works fine but every week or so the aim logs reset and I lose everything from before that point. I can't find an option that says something like "save logs for x many days" so i don't think its that. if anyone knows why this problem occurs please help! is there a way i can extend the limit? my old computer saved files since the beginning, which goes up to like 11mb files. now mine reset at like 2 help plzzz

My AIM Buddy List has been deleted! How do I restore it? I use AIM, the instant messenger, a lot. I had about 100 buddies, plus my Facebook chat, which I used through AIM. I logged onto it just now, like any other day, and it says that I have zero friends, and it is also asking me if I want to use the Facebook chat with AIM, which I already did, as I said above. Thinking it was just a glitch in the program, I tried AIM Express with no luck. The same thing happened. I then tried to use the AIM app on my iPhone, but the same thing happened again. Also, I checked the AIM Logger, and it still has all my past IM's saved, but not all of them (I didn't start saving them until just recently) so I still don't have nearly all my contacts that I had. How do you view AIM Log? I am using AIM 7 Beta 4 and was using AIM 6.9 but they both have the same thing. When I go under AIM logger, all I see is the HTML. When I click it, all the HTML things shows along with the conversation. Then I tried to right click on the Contact, Click "Show IM Archives" but same thing. All the HTML Markers show up with the Conversation. Does aimlogger / AIM log delete your conversations after the file (logs) gets too big? I was wondering because i just noticed that my file for one of my buddies suddenly got alot smaller, and when i opened it up, i lost all of our conversations since april. and my other aim files can be as big as 7000 or so kbs, and im wondering maybe that the file was too big (maybe exceeding 10mb) so aim logger deleted these conversations and started fresh. My friend has a keystroke logger on her computer somewhere..help please! How to make or where to get a keystroke logger? On my home computer i let my two little brothers play on it. They know the password to get on it and they use it to play they're little online multiplayer games. But one of them is going in and trying to change my password. Also i came in one day and found inappropriate websites had been opened. They both log on to AIM when they get on and talk to friends so i was thinking i could catch them in the act with what they log on to AIM with or see what theyre typing. My parents are getting a key logger? Help please? Okay, long story short: My cousin was spreading a rumor about my sister (freshman) doing some sexually acts with her boyfriend. My sister got whiff of the rumors and started venting via AIM to her boyfriend and bestfriend. My step-mom came up behind her during the convo and asked to read it. My sister said no, tried to 'x' out the window, and then shut off the computer. So after a lengthy talk, my dad announced that they're putting a key logger on the "kids" computer. I know it's not entirely my sister's fault, being the control freaks they are, they probably would have gotten it sooner or later. But I don't do anything wrong on the computer. I don't hardly swear, if any, and I don't look at porn or any of that other stuff. I told this to my parents and they think that I shouldn't have a problem with it if I'm "supposedly not doing anything I shouldn't" but it's just creepy and feels like my privacy is being invaded. I get on MySpace and Yahoo!. That's all. But I don't want them having my passwords and reading everything I send. For one, I talk to LOTS of people via MySpace, and have to code whore codes and stuff for people who I don't even know. I have various peoples passwords and info on there and I don't want them on their accounts. I don't want them screwing around on my account and destroying my stuff either. But the MAJOR thing is that my parents don't know I'm into Paganism. And if they get my Y! password, they'd find out for sure. How to get over being cheated on? About a month ago, my girlfriend came up to me and asked if she could have an affair. I was shocked and a little confused by it but I told her no, she pouted but I thought it was over if not just a joke to start with. Then a few days later, she as suppose to go to a friend's wedding, but it turned out to be a lie she was going to spend the weekend at another guys house for his birthday party, the same friend she wanted an affair with. She didn't end up going and she did come clean about it, but swears nothing was going to happen even if she did go. We've been together for almost 6 years now and I used to trust her completely, I over looked the fact that most of her friends are cheaters. However. that was a really big lie so she lost some of my trust there and I turned on her aim logger to find out what she was talking to him about when they talk on-line. Well turns out they're doing heavy flirting, even talking about being in love and how her heart feels split and that he makes her heart quiver. She was also talking pretty badly about me. I confronted her about it with out letting on that I was spying on her, she told me it was just innocent on-line flirting. She's always been a flirt and I do it on line too, so I accepted it at the time but kept spying. He e-mailed her pictures of his 'goods' and I found them, not by spying but she left her e-mail open one day and it was just there, like she wanted me to catch her. I asked her if she sent nude pics back, she told me no but later I saw her in her logs that she did send him nude pictures. We live in Las Vegas, so I was able to look over the fact that he was coming out here to see her and just more or less seen it as him coming to Las Vegas, maybe I was to innocent. Anyway she was planning on going out with him on Friday night and Saturday, in secret she was also planning to meet him Monday for breakfast. From reading her logs, I already knew about her Monday plans and I let it slip when she told me she wanted to go eat breakfast with one of her friends then she was going to spend the rest of the say with me. At this point I was near the end and I snapped at her about if she wants to go out with that guy she doesn't need to lie about it, then she was telling me she didn't want to go out with him she was going out with one of our female friends. So I don't know if she was lying to him or me, but from her track record it would look like she lied to me. Our relationship was starting to get rocky at that point but its been a pretty good six years so I tried to have faith in her. I did everything but begged her not to go, I should have came clean about snooping on her but I didn't and the more they talked on the the worse it got, like asking if he kisses with his eyes open, and him saying even if his girlfriend comes with him she'll still be able to get her's. Long story short, she ended up going out with him on Friday night even after I begged her not to. She drank, and dances, she said she grabbed his junk once while they were dancing, and that she gave him a good bye kiss (on the lips) when she left. She swears that's all she did with him. However, she did admit to getting topless, making out with, fondling his girlfriend's breast with out clothes on, and said she rubbed her down there but she still had panties on. Said if his gf didn't get sick and throw up (from the drinking) that she would have done more with her. When I asked her why, she told me she never wanted him, but she wanted his gf, but as for why it happened her answers were 'I wanted to' and 'She let me' not very good answers for a 6 year relationship. I made her call him and tell him that she was in love with me and that it was all over between them and he had no chance. Then 45 minutes later she went up stairs and called him in private. There's pictures from that night which she refuses to let me see. She found out about the aim logging and turned it off and is likely checking to make sure its still off. She tells me she loves him but she's not in love with him, and that she wants to stay with me. She refuses to stop talking to him, and last night she was on the phone with someone, swears it was her sister but it didn't sound like it in fact it sounded like she was talking to him and that he was still in town. She didn't use her sister's name, didn't talk about any of the stuff she normally does with her sister and to top it all off, she deleted the call logs. I still love her and I want to be with her, but I don't know how to get over what she did to me. Should I even try to save what we have or just try to move on? Please help i need serious relationship advice, I am dealing with betray and lies i really need some advice ? My girlfriend and i have been in a serious relationship for 5 months. At first we fought quite a lot, but as the relationship progressed we adjusted and gave to each others needs. She had a lot of guy friends, which was something i was unused to in a relationship. The message was basically her bugging out over this kid because he was seeing so many girls. Then the last message stated how she confessed that she was just jealous. I brought the issue up the next day, trying to hide the fact i read the messages. She told me she used to have a thing for him. My thoughts where how could you have a thing for someone who lives in another state, and why would you be "jealous". I let it go and continuously checked her my space secretively without her knowing. I found that alot of messages they sent between each other where sent to the trash to hide from me. She forgot to empty the trash. A month later i was talking to her and she was telling me all these funny pick up lines. I questioned where she got all of them. Moments later i was back on her myspace and noticed a bulletin from that kid i mentioned before. The bulletin happened to state one of the pick up lines she told me. Then something urged me too go into her truthbox (A myspace app that allows you to anonymously comment how you feel about that person). To my surprise there was a long list of comments back and forth from my girlfriend to this kid. The first comment from my girlfriend stated " Lets talk through here so my boyfriend doesn't find out". Thats all i remember but they where flirtatious comments. This infuriated me and upset me so much, i really wasn't expecting this betrayal it was so out of know where. I could barely speak to her. Her excuse was she wanted to lead him on then stop talking to him like he did to her in the past. Also she hid it from me and betrayed my trust because "she didn't want to hurt me, and she knew i didn't like this kid". She was a wreck so was i. She begged not to end the relationship. I broke it off because i figured if she betrayed my trust how will i ever trust her again? It was to hard, i told her i would give her a 2nd chance and we decided we would try and make it work. After a few weeks of anger,resentment, and much communication, she dropped all her guy friends to try and make me feel better. I told her that's not what i want, the only thing i want is trust. She would give up anything to be with me. I cant be happy though if im paranoid. After a month or 2 things became stable again, yet i didn't really feel the spark like i used too. There was this one guy who she remained friends with, who really angered me because he always checked her out. She knew he did too. Eventually she told him they cant be friends because its interfering with our relationship, i asked if she had the instant message saved, [B]she replied no[/B]. A few weeks later (2 days ago from when this is being typed), I was at her house and we where on her laptop. I asked her again if she had the convo between her and the guy who she terminated the friendship with. She said no once again. While we where in her documents i noticed a folder called aim logger, which is where aim (aol instant messenger) logs all your instant messages. I went in the folder and noticed all the im logs where deleted except for mine and another girl. I asked her if she deleted them and she said no and she got very [B]defensive[/B]. She started crying and saying why don't you believe me. The evidence was right in front of us. Possibly sent a keylogger through aim? I was talking to someone earlier who randomly tried to send me their "pics" through a zip file. I think I closed it in time, they told me to look at my desktop because they wanted me to open it and told me it was a key logger. Well there was no file on my desktop. How can I send a keylogger to someone elses computer? I know it isn't excatly moral or right, but I have to do this to check up on my little brother.
