How can I find the way back to my home?

I always lose my way when I go shopping myself, how can I avoid such thing happened again. My friend advised me to buy a GPS location finder from here: http://www.eleczilla.com/electronic-gadgets/gps-receiver-location-finder-photo-tagger-data-logger.html, but I do not know wether it is really helpful. Is there anyboby who used a GPS location finder device? Please give me some advices. Thanks so much.

1. i would suggest getting an Android phone. these phones have built in navigation GPS if you have an internet plan. you will never get lost with this because the phone allows you to pinpoint your location and get directions from where you are exactly. i never get lost with this!
